Hey there! Sorry, for the long hiatus. I've been very busy these days. I'm a junior intern for almost a month now (grabe, time flies so fast!) and currently undergoing my 2-month OB-GYNE rotation. The whole experience is, well, tiring and very fulfilling.  One of the highlights of OB is that it has an outside rotation in a government hospital. Tomorrow is my 5th and last  duty day there and I'm honestly looking forward to it - I've been waiting for this since day 1. But I will surely miss the residents and staff the Delivery and Operating Room! I swear their the nicest! The charity patients also, somehow moved me. Every time I get their histories and hear their stories, parang my purpose here becomes clearer to me. So far I've delivered at least 20 babies vaginally, assisted in 7 cesarean sections and had 3 gyne major surgeries. I know right!? Very Gail's Anatomy lang. Lol. And so far, I've had 4 hours of sleep lang for the past 48 hours!? Now, I'm just thankful that today is almost over. I made it through from my compre exam, to OPD patients and to preceps!

Bought a new pair of spectacles today! Yay!

Last night, while drinking, I had some weird thoughts again. I don't know if its the alcohol or the crowd or just me but I felt little off? Emo much? Haha! It's like for a moment I'm at my happiest and then suddenly everything disappears in a snap. It's one of those instances when I'm feeling the natural high and having the time of my life pero when I look around I realized I don't really have "someone" to share it with. Oh well. F*ck it. I'm okay now. Relapse, sorry. I forgot to take my meds again! Haha! 

Yeah I know, I look druged here - even black and white instagram filter cannot give justice to it. Haha! But this is the only "decent" photo I have from last night- for visual aid lang. Good times! That's my jam!

I wish she released this song when I was 22. Para nakanta ko sya with conviction. It's meaningless now that I'm already 24! But I like her here - no drama, no bitterness, just good music. :)

The School Year That Was (SY 2012-2013)

Okay, So I'm on break now. This is going to be the last summer break before I graduate, hopefully next year! Geez, time flies so fast!

Exempted! Parang kelan lang when I wrote about me failing Internal Med. The frustration, the depression and heartache felt like it all happened yesterday, pero everything faded when I made it to the exemption list! I was like! What the hell?! That was really unexpected, My name was announced in front of the entire batch, and it almost felt like my beauty queen moment as in wide eyes, jaw drop and hands covering my mouth! Ganun pala talaga, when my name was called, di ko alam kung runner up ako title! Haha!

Transcriptions.Getting through the first 3 years of medschool or at least this school year would be impossible without my hardworking batchmates. Lalo na mga transcribers. From Cor, STD, IDK, Lecheng Tranx HB Notes, Past tranx, Past E's, and the super paandar na Ratios were all very helpful! I'm never a fan of big and heavy medical text books. In fact sobrang konti lang binili kong books ngayon medschool kasi, mahal and yun nga di ko naman binabasa. Like mga 3 lang sila! Haha. My transcriptions are very personal. Aside from my notes, I write all my rants and raves when I feel like it there. It has dates when and where I read it, time started and time ended. I also note the background music playing when I was reading. It's so personal most of them has my saliva! (if you know what I mean Haha!) These transcriptions accompanied me through sleepless nights of evals, people watching on coffee shops and even served as my date on some family affairs! Haha!

Highlighters! I'm very particular in my highlighters. Alam ko na ang lifespan ng highlighters ko, alam ko din kung alin yung di agad na woworn out ang dulo. Stabillo Boss wins the category for Longest life span, but Faber Castel on the other hand is Best in Nociception - as in pinkanakakagising sa brightness! Haha!And, and my gel pens are all scented wala lang. Arte lang.

I'm honestly NOT looking forward to Junior Internship! I'm scared to death! I really don't know what to expect. Oh well, I'm taking it as a challenge! Parang new chapeter ng life - new season ng Gail's Anatomy! Shet! Haha! See you!
